Tennis Speed & Agility Exercise - The Spider Drill
By Be Gr8 at Tennis - Rob Cherry · Shows this drill (Ace’s reps and rest may differ)
The same setup as Ace's spider run: five balls placed around the court and a racquet on the baseline, with each ball returned to the racquet against the clock. Ace's rest interval and number of rounds are its own conditioning prescription.
Ace viewing focus
- The ball positions and the racquet at the centre of the baseline
- Low turns and short braking steps at each ball
- Timing each round so improvement can be tracked
